Benefits can be gained from waking up every morning

If you are someone who used to get up early or known also with the term morning person then you can feel happy because not everyone can be like you.

Waking up in the morning is something quite difficult for some people to do. But for you wake up even on holiday is not something that is difficult for you.

There is plenty of evidence to suggest that having a habit of getting up early is very beneficial to the quality of your life. Here are the benefits you can get by having a habit of getting up early.

1. You will be more likely to have a healthy breakfast

There is a reason why people say breakfast is the most important thing. This is because not only does breakfast work for your metabolism, it also provides essential nutrients for your body and brain to help you perform throughout the day.

There is plenty of evidence to suggest that having a habit of getting up early is very beneficial to the quality of your life.

"A breakfast loaded with protein can help build dopamine, a neurotransmitter that helps control your brain's pleasure center and balances stress hormones cortisol," Brandon Mentore, a functional medicine practitioner and sports nutritionist.

2. You can have time to exercise

In the morning, your body is in top condition to move. "Your body produces more testosterone in the morning and this high level can help support muscle repair and growth," says Robert S. Herbst, a weight and health coach. Herbst says that moderate intensity exercise like cardio is best done in the morning.

3. Exposure to sunlight

When you wake up early, you will be exposed to far more sun than waking up late. "The importance of natural morning light has been supported by science," Mentore said. "People who are often exposed to light in the morning have a body mass index (BMI) lower than those who do not."

4. You will get a good night's sleep

"Our circadian rhythm naturally encourages our bodies to rest at dusk, sleeps in the dark and wakes up at sunrise," says Chris Brantner, founder of SleepZoo sleep research site. "So if you get up from bed early on a regular basis and sleep early too, your body may be more in tune with its natural evolutionary process."

There is plenty of evidence to suggest that having a habit of getting up early is very beneficial to the quality of your life.

5. You become happier

But researchers at RWTH Aachen University in Germany found that people who often sleep late at night are at high risk of depression. "Lack of sleep can cause depression which can cause more sleep deprivation that can cause depression," Brantner said.
