The habit of drinking tea in the morning does not always bring bad effects. Although tea contains caffeine that if consumed too much can harm health, apparently tea as breakfast can help you get the ideal body shape.
Researchers from The University of California found that tea, especially black tea helps stimulate the production of good bacteria in the gut and alter your energy metabolism. The study, published in the European Journal of Nutrition through Redonline.co.uk, looked at the effects of black and green tea on experimental animals that were divided into four groups and fed different diets. Weight is calculated for four weeks and animals given black or green tea extract lose as much weight as has been given to animals that are low fat diets. It is supported by intestinal health. Animals that consume green tea extract have fewer intestinal bacteria associated with obesity. Green tea polyphenols more effectively offer more health benefits than black tea polyphenols. This is because the chemicals of green tea are absorbed into the blood and tissues.
