WhatsApp is reportedly re-setting up a new feature for its users. This time in the form of an update in the voice recording function aka voice note.
Use of these features seems to be facilitated by hands-free ability. This function runs by locking the recording, or runs continuously until terminated by the user. Currently, the user must press the recording button continuously to create a voice message.
The trick, shortly after pressing and holding the microphone button, will appear a new option called "slide up to lock recording". Then just swipe the finger up, and WhatsApp will lock the recording so that it can record without holding key.
Once voice recording is locked, the user can still perform the chat scrolling in the open chat window. Users also can still cancel the recording and delete them without being sent.

So far the WhatsApp user must press and hold the microphone button with the finger to do the recording. The sound recording process will only continue to run while the finger is still in the button so it can not be off hand.
As summarized from Phone Arena on Saturday (7/4/2018), the above features appear in the new Android WhatsApp app in beta 2.18.102, and will soon be available for the iOS platform.
The possibility of viewing the recording interface of voice note hands-free will change again, before finally applied in the application WhatsApp final version.
In addition, there is another new capability that will be present in WhatsApp, which is to see the size of the file sticker before downloading it to the phone.
