Easy Win, Nurmagomedov Replace McGregor World Champion

The Russian fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov dominant tapil with defeated Al Iaquinta as well as win the UFC lightweight world champion title replaces the old champion, Conor McGregor.

McGregor was dropped from his title after refusing to retain the title for 18 months, since November 2016. Nurmagomedov will actually be fighting the Copotan title against Tony Ferguson, but canceled due to injury.


Facing Iaquinta (13-4-1 MMA, 8-3 UFC) which is a substitute opponent, Nurmagomedov (26-0 MMA, 10-0 UFC) appear dominant. He excels in every round in five rounds of this fight. The battle judge gave 50-43, 50-43 and 50-44 victories.

In five rounds that took place, Nurmagomedov seemed to give wind to his opponent. He rarely even does a ground battle which is a deadly weapon for his opponents.
